Pathways To Connection was established to provide person-centered, trauma informed care via telehealth. We are a group of social workers, counselors and marriage and family therapists who have decided we want an alternative to wasteful organizations that set unrealistic productivity expectations on their clinicians. We provide a collaborative space where clinicians feel valued, empowered to make the best work/life balance choices and equipped to make meaningful connections.

Our group provides:

  • Credentialing  - this is the process of contacting insurance companies, providing them with the Clinician’s information for the insurance company to approve the Clinician as a provider within their insurance network. This process allows Clinicians access to clients with specific insurance companies - currently this includes 8 different insurance and EAP client sources.

  • Contract Negotiation - this is the process of negotiating with insurance companies on behalf of clinicians to secure increases in rates paid to providers.

  • Marketing and referral network development - Pathways to Connection maintains and explores various referral sources, networks and marketing opportunities. Many of these networks are insurance based and often are the consequence of maintaining contracts with insurance companies. Pathways to Connections has increased its affiliation with insurance companies and EAP to 8 and continues to research additional sources and opportunities.

  • Claim Submission - Pathways to Connection submits claims to appropriate insurance providers within timely and specific time frames and communicates and resolves claim denials for benefit of clinician and client.

  • Payment receipts and Distribution - Pathways to Connection maintains systems, processes and technologies which are required and necessary to receive payment from insurance providers on behalf of clinicians and distributes payments to clinicians.

  • Collections services, claim and payment management - Pathways to Connection provides collections services, including communicating with clients, coordinating client communication with clinicians and calling insurance companies when payment and claims are delayed within insurance companies’ processes. Pathways to connection validates reimbursement rates paid by insurance companies’ is accurate and problem solves payment situations with incorrect payment.

  • EHR Platform Maintenance - Pathways to Connection maintains awareness, performs research and communication as well as any other additional requirements in order to understand and resolve EHR platform issues and perform maintenance.

  • Scheduling and administrative support services - Pathways to Connection provides the administrative staff, structure and processes associated with scheduling clients for its clinicians, including phone and email monitoring and answering, information gathering, appointment creation and communication to client and clinician. Additional administrative support is also available to clinicians including records requests, therapist’s tools, case staffing and clinical assessments and templates.

  • Client Records  - Pathways To Connection maintains and appropriately distributes records in compliance with our code of ethics and in compliance with HIPAA requirements.
