Introduction:
My main reason for being a mental health provider is that I love encouraging, listening to, and empowering others. I use a strengths-based approach and will support you in writing a narrative for your life that is full of hope.
In therapy, I mainly use cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and narrative approaches. Additionally, I am trained in the Neurodevelopmental Model of Therapeutics, which helps me provide therapeutic interventions while being cognizant of how trauma impacts brain function.
Lastly, as of 9/9/2024, I am certified in Compassionate Bereavement Care which addresses traumatic Grief. The model is mindfulness based and addresses traumatic grief through interventions such as attunement skills and traumatic death education including the neurophysiological changes in clients enduring traumatic stress.
Please contact me if interested in receiving counseling for traumatic grief as the structure does differ from the one of traditional individual therapy.
I will be happy to offer a free consultation as requested.
